Besides painting OR using a magic eraser.....how can get get pen and unwashable crayons off my walls?!

We have absolutely no money to buy paint or magic erasers...... and somehow our kids keep getting a hold of stray pens and crayons and colored pencils....
To say the least my walls look like the streets of LA. lol HELP!?!?!?!?!

  • Hairspray, goo gone, rubbing alcohol, or a solution of bleach. 1 part bleach to 2 parts water.

  • Magic Eraser is 3.47 for a 4 pack at Walmart... second link is for a coupon!! You'll probably spend just as much on other cleaning products and end up buying it any ways!!

  • if you cant afford a magic eraser then I doubt you could afford anything else except soap and water and to hide the stuff really good

  • we don't have extra money laying around.
    Nicoles2....we don't give it to them unless we're supervising them now. I don't know if they have a stash or what, but we literally take them away daily and I have NO IDEA where they're getting them from.

  • I would say take their coloring stuff away if you're having that much of a problem. I wouldn't know how to clean the walls without a Magic Eraser. I know they can be pricy, but not when you compare them to the price of paint.
    Maybe you could buy a generic brand? At the dollar store or something? I don't know if they make generics, but you should check.
