Random, but...

How tall are your kids? Are they taller than you? If they're still young, do you think they will be when they're fully grown?

My son (16) was helping me in the kitchen today and I noticed how tall he's getting. He's at least five inches taller than me (I'd put him at around 5'10"), and still growing but his twin sister is very petite (all of 5'2" and very slim). For the record, I'm about 5'5" and their dad must have been 6'2" or 6"3".

  • They say approximately double the height they were at 2 for girls. For me it was right on, and I am betting that it will be fairly accurate with my kids as well. I am 5'1 (almost. LOL) and daddy is 5'6". Our fathers are both really tall, and our mothers are both really short. I think our youngest is going to be short like us, and our oldest will be at least 5'6"...getting some height from her grandpas. LOL

  • DD1 turns 4yrs on May 14; she's 4'. DD2's 7mos and almost 2'. I'm 5'7" and DH is 6'2". I'm a tall woman in my family, but DH is average for men in his family. I think our DDs will get taller than me.
