  • I was always told to name a child expecting it to grow up and be something big. Like president or a doctor. I'm not sure I could take President Heaven Leigh seriously. I know I'd probably lose it if I heard "Paging Dr. Heaven Leigh." Therefore, I myself would not name my child that. Not my style. Of course, not many people like the old fashioned names that I have picked out. And in the end, it's your child, and if YOU like it, that's all that matters.

  • A good rule of thumb (along with the google search and the give your child a name that can be applied to a job like Dr, Judge, etcthat the pps mentioned) would be to go somewhere that you don't know anyone and introduce yourself using that name, and watch people's reactions. Is that a reaction that you would want your child to have to face every day?

I have to be honest, I think that the sentiment is sweet - like you think your baby is a heavenly gift, or wonderful, etc..., but I'm sorry, I don't think the name is a good one, and I think that a child with that name would probably grow to hate it. :-(

  • It's too cutesy, which means it just ends up sounding silly.
