Sunscreen safety?

Are sunscreen lotions safe during pregnancy???

  • You should really ask your OB. But as far as I know, yes they are safe. Safer than a sunburn. I laid out in the sun throughout my pregnancy and used sunscreen every time. I was fine, my baby is fine.

  • Well, sunscreens make me break out in hives because they are crazy-full of chemicals so no, I can't advise that they are safe to use EVER. I have been able to find a safer version (www.mexitan.com) that doesn't irritate my skin because it's not loaded with crap that all the others are.
