  • If you have a predictable cycle it is halfway between the first day of one period to the first day of the next. Most women average about a 28 day cycle so they say 2 weeks (14 days) after the first day of your period. Most likely you will ovulate sometime around the 15th unless your cycle is not about a 28 day cycle. What we have always found effective when TTC was to start having sex as soon as the period is done and have sex every other day until I can take an early pregnancy test- 5 or 6 days before next period is due to start. Good luck.

Try to use this ovulation calendar tool to trace your cycle and find the date of ovulation.
