Anyone else notice this?

I see this all the time and was wondering if anyone else has noticed it. For some reason, most people say nails when referring to a dog and claws when speaking about a cat. The only time I have heard claw when talking about a dog is the dew claw. Just a random thought.

  • because claws are retractable, nails aren't. dog's can't retract their nails, therefore they are called nails :)
