  • Know how to cook at least 7 simple meals. Do laundry. Clean house. Write a check, how a checking acct works and reconciling a checkbook. How to change a tire. How deposits and leases work.Budgeting and grocery shopping on said budget. Boys or girls. My boys both knew how to do these when they left home to go to college for one, the Army for the other. If they chose not to do them it wasn't because they didn't know how.
