What makes a mother?

Because it's Mothers' Day and because I needed something to do, I wrote a blog post about what makes a mother. If you can get past my shameless self-promotion and read the entry, feel free to comment there or here about your own thoughts of what makes a mom. Was I way off base or right on the money? Do you hate people who mix cliched metaphors?

  • A mom is not just the women feeding and loving the kids,a mom is someone that enjoys her kids doesn't push them to act like adults when they are not,or treats them like 5 year old when they are 25.She let's them be kids and listens to them, she sets an example that she never minds her child to follow. She always encourages she always gets less and gives more, she cares for her babies above all things. She teaches them respect and helps them to be a better human. Her kids are represenatives of her therefore when you see them you know how well cared they are and how much time they are given. They always look better and never sit in the back burner, she always gives up what she wants and gives them what they need.

  • A mother is someone who loves her children more than herself. She is willing ad happily puts them before herself. A mother wants the best for her children, and will not settle for les. She will raise them to be respectful, hard working, caring members of society. She will teach them about the importance of God, and take them to church. She will enjoy her children, and enjoy all the little things that come each and everyday. A mother will cherish her children and accept them for who they are.
