Can someone please just reassure me...? adult content

I had a miscarriage (surprise pregnancy) a few years ago (ex-bf). My now husband-to-be and I are not yet TTC, but I'm so scared. I am 30. I have had a miscarriage. And the statistic says women with fibromyalgia will have THREE miscarriages before a live birth. We've made an agreement that I won't have to go through more than five (if two are very early) before we start looking into other options, like surrogacy or adoption. Can someone just reassure me that I am worrying for nothing, that almost everyone has perfectly healthy kids, that I will have my four (yes, I'm hoping for four, two of each, and we already have names) with no major problems?

  • Miscarriages are for the most part random. Having one doesn't mean you will only have others. I had 2 but I still had 4 healthy babies and is 18 weeks pregnant with my 5th.

  • No one can assure you that you will have the four children you want to have; however, I think woman can share their stories with you for encouragment. My sister in law had three miscarriages and is now expecting next month. I know a couple who tried for 4 years and just found out last month they are expecting. Keep your chin up!!

  • Miscarriages are very common. Just because you have one doesn't mean you'll have another. Think positive!
