How do you cook your brown rice??

I really do like brown rice but I get annoyed on how long it takes to cook so I just don't cook it. I know that their is no work to it but I am just weird. Maybe if I had a better recipe to use then I might not feel that way. I just make it like regularly rice no extra seasoning.

So how do you cook your brown rice?

  • Exactly like it says on the package and it comes out great every time. I use the instant brown rice just as much as real brown rice, they're both good.

  • Shave some orange zest into the pot and add juice from the orange to the water that you're boiling it in. I like it.

  • I make it in a total unhealthy way.
    BACON RICE----
    2 cans french onion soup
1 regular size box instant brown rice
1lb of bacon diced and browned- drained of all fat

Mix all of it in a pot add enough water to equal the required amounts. Cook till rice is tender.

  • I use chicken or beef broth to cook it in... Or I use the stuff out of the freezer section. Takes much less time.
