DD has a cough still

She has had it for a few days now with a runny noise, no high temp and a lot of drool. should i take her in?

  • my dd is having the same problem. she went for a check-up yesterday and got shots. so today she's super fussy! they won't give you anything for a cough. they told me to give her a little benadryl and keep her elevated. hasn't helped so now i'm at a loss!

  • just keep an eye on her if she gets worse take her to the doc babys can get rsv around this time so just be causious

  • this is the second time in a month this has happened to her though and last time they did a blood test and her white blood cell count was 22,000-more than double the normal level!

  • that could be to im surprised they gave her shots when she is sick my kids doc wont give them a checkup when they are sick he says he cant

  • they said they didn't think she is sick,per se. they think it's post nasel drip causing the cough. they also went ahead and gave her a dose of the flu shot.

  • oh ok it could just be that and shes still fussy about getting the shots or it could be from the flu shot just keep an eye on her and if she gets worse then i would call the doc
