Places to get help?

Does anyone know of any places in Grand Rapids, Michigan where we can get help for groceries and bills? We don't have extra money to join Angel Food Ministries or anything like that.

  • You can call social services they usually have a list of people who help in any area. Also try Salvation Army, they can help when you need it, and also can refer to other places that can help. If you have a Catholic Charities they also help.

  • A lot of churches will help, so I would start there. Even if they can't help, they can probably give you a list of places that can. Good luck!

  • Is there a food bank in your area? Can or have you applied for food stamps or financial aid? Christian based centers will help you as well, if you have any of those in your area. Best of luck to you.
