Pain in the back of my upper right arm?

It shoots up the back higher than the elbow, but below the shoulder. Anyone know what it could be?

  • Perhaps a pinched nerve? I pinched a nerve in my upper arm last week and it radiated all the way down to my fingers, just like sciatic nerve pain in the butt and leg.

  • It sounds like a muscle strain.

  • I'd call my doctor. It could be a pulled muscle or it could be a sign of a heart attack, I'd definitely call my doctor or go to the nearest ER.
