How do I get sauce out of my carpet?

My son is messy and he decided to throw red sauce all over my carpet. My carpet is like a tan color.

  • red is one of the toughest colors to get out of carpets. Try cold water, soap and a shop vac to see if you can pull it out. If not I would try laquer thinner. Put it on a rag ( wear gloves) and rub it see if it helps. If not, at worst scenario, you can match a spray paint to the carpet and spray it in lid and brush into the fibers, if it doesn't match right once again laquer thinner will take the paint off of the carpet. Good luck.
