I use left over coffee that I let cool in the fridge. I add Splenda to sweeten it though simple syrup would work well (an equal part sugar dissolved into and equal part water and cooled) also.
I pour it over ice and add in flavored liquid coffee creamers for whatever flavor I am in the mood for (and I have in the house LOL)
I'm sure that you could also use a few drops of flavoring extracts with milk, cream or half and half to lighten and flavor it, I just haven't tried to yet.
