Will you be watching it on PBS? On May 16th?

The story behind a courageous band of civil rights activists called Freedom Riders who in 1961 challenged segregation in the American South.

    I was going to ask this same question. I also saw this on Oprah last week and found it so moving.


    Not the most flattering piece of American History, but something we must all be aware of -- to help us appreciate how far we've come, and remind us of where we never want to go again.

  • If I remember to, yes I will. My dad has ridden with a local group of them a few times, and some of them escorted my brother home from the airport when he came home from his year deployment to Iraq. I have a huge amount of respect for them, for what they've done.
