What can i do to help my ss concentrate in school?

he would rather be watching whats going on with the other kids and talking hes in 1st grade

  • Make sure he is eatting well, meaning, no sugary cereals or crap for breakfast, and make sure he has a good protien source in his lunch, protien makes them concentrate more. No food colorings, alot of kids get crazy from those.

  • A reward system. Teacher can stamp a card, happy or sad, after every subject to see how he is doing. You can discipline or reward with a small treat each day. Also, at the end of the week you can reward him for having a certain number of happy faces.

  • yalk to the teafher about the rewards and also where he is sitting... too close to distractions etc.
