We're going to sell our house and buy a new one, my question is what do u do when you've sold your house but u haven't found one u like? Did u rent an apt in the meantime and then break your lease?

  • You find a new home and make the offer contingent upon your selling your old one. If you don't want to go that route, you can rent an apartment but you don't break the lease. You can sometimes do a month-to-month or 3 months at a time.

  • I agree to talk to your realtor about helping you find a month to month place to rent until the sale on your new place goes through. A lot of realty firms also do property management.
