Are you tired of schools closing in your state? I know i am! Here in Oregon three schools closed in Salem and two schools closed in Lake Oswego and the parents are trying to keep another one open! And there are a lot more doing the same thing! If this keeps up! Where will are kids go to school? Not all parents have the time to home school there kids because of there jobs!

  • We haven't had any schools closing in my area. They are still having to build new ones to accommodate all the new students coming in!

  • We have the 2nd largest school district as far as per square mile ( 120 sq. miles), we are closing schools and bringing them together into one building, instead of hour long bus rides we are looking at 2 hour long bus rides just one way. Around here it is attendance, it is down and does not pay to have all these schools open when there's half the kids there was 20 yrs ago.

  • Our problem in central CT is the public schools losing funding and teachers being let go. My kids go to a private parochial school and their classes are getting bigger, too, because so many families are sending their kids there.

  • They are consolidating and closing schools here. DD is still a toddler and who knows what things will look like when she's ready to start kindergarten.
