Can a male dog that is fixed put my female does who isn't fixed into heat?

  • No your male dog has nothing to do with your female gong into heat she will go into heat every 6 months until you get her fixed, and don't be surprised if they do not get together even though he is fixed it happens she just won't conceive from him

  • Male dogs don't put females into heat. This is is her normal estrus cycle, like your menstrual cycle. She'd go into heat regardless of the presence of another dog.

  • Only mother nature can control going into heat...............I would've loved to have blamed my hubby for my "heats"....LOL

  • No.. if the female isnt fixed she will come in heat anyway whether the male is fixed or not.. i think it is every 6 months dogs go in heat..
