Do you think narcolepsy can be mistaken for untreated sleep apnea

A person who has sleep apnea do not get enough sleep and can doze off at the drop of a hat just like those with narcolepsy. So how do Dr's figure out if a person really has narcolepsy?

  • its a little more then just a sleep study......and it actually usally goes the other way narcolepsy mistaken for narcolepsy.....you need to get him to the dr....BOTH are VERY dangerous.....and could end up with heart problems,stroke,accedents and could cause death.......pm me if you want to talk i have both narcolepsy and sleep apnea and my goal in life is to help people understand this.
