Baby food schedule

i need to know a good formula baby food schedule to put my son on. hes eating 5 ounces of formula every 5 hours and he is 6 months. hes been eating about a jar of baby food a day, but i was wondering what times, ect i should be feeding him and with how much formila.. HELP

  • Always give him baby food after he's had formula. What time doesn't matter as long as you have enough time to do it.

  • Keep feeding 28-32 ounces of formula as normal. ONLY add in food around that and don't worry if he doesn't eat food. It is only for practice and as a supplement to formula anyway. If he can sit unassisted, give him small pieces of whatever you are eating and let him feed himself. Again remembering, food isn't meant to fill him up..only give him practice.

  • Solids are a supplemental feeding. So stick with what you've already been doing, add the solids AFTER that only.
