To Anyone Who Is In A Custody Battle....(Positive Statement)

Keep your head up and know there is hope at the end of the road.

My husband was just awarded full/sole custody of his daughter today and the mother's rights have been suspended. After 5 years of him not knowing where his daughter was (kidnapped by mother), 11 months of waiting to gain temporary custody while daughter was in foster care, and 10 more months of court battles while having temporary custody.

It was a long, hard and sometimes painful road, but we traveled it together and have arrived at the other side a little battered, but still closer and happier now that we permanantly have our little girl.

  • Awesome, my ex all I did was kill him with kindness, learned it takes two to argue. Just smile and let him rant.

  • Boy Louise2, you sure know how to put a negative tone on a congratulatory note. It wasn't a "different women" in that manner, it was his ex of 10 years ago (daughter is almost 8). I made this post to give others in a similar situation some hope.
