My pregnancy book says that all belly buttons will pop. But mine is really deep. I am 35 weeks and mine still hasnt popped. Do you think its true that all belly buttons really pop?

  • Your baby book is wrong. I have never read that. I've had 4 babies and with my 2nd I got so huge that my abdominal muscles separated (that was painful) but not once did my belly button "pop". All it did was flatten out some.

  • mine didn't pop until the day before my little one was born.

  • Mine nearly disappeared. Mine is deep and  my belly got so big with the first one it just about flattened out.

  • I agree with all the others, mine never popped only flattened. I too have the deep belly button. I'm 21 weeks into a twin pregnancy and it's flattening out but still has some depth. Mine will get so flat that there's nothing left to pop.

  • I have 3 kids and mine flattened out all 3 times as well. I've never heard of the "popping" thing either.
