If your significant other died would you date and/or possibly marry someone else or not ever see anyone else ever again.

I would date but it'll be a very long time after and even longer if marriage is involved.

  • We've been married for long time. I don't think I would feel the need of finding someone else.

  • I was two months pregnant with my dd when her father passed in 1997 in a car accident. I am now married to my Hubby of six years. And we have been together since 2004.

  • 100% I would date again and hopefully remarry. Of course it would take YEARS... and I see no need in doing so until my kids were up and out of the house.

But I LOVE being married and would hope he felt the same way. I would be sad to think of hubs dying alone.... and we are not the type to shack up. I think it would be MORE offensive to the dead to "play" married and not actually get married.

  • I would probably have lovers but not anyone in a serious relationship.

SO is my mate in every way so he couldn't be replaced by any other.
