  • instant coffee, hot chocolate, prepaid phone card, suntan lotion, any toiletries I think would be useful. I also remember watching the movie about Jessica?(the USA Army gal that was held hostage) in the beginning they were driving in the desert and had condoms on the tips of their guns,it was described as keeping the sand out of the gun.Are you allowed to send extras like hair bands, rubberbands to give to the females? Are the males allowed to wear the sweat bands? ( like guys at the gym,Robin

  • gum, deodorant, bars of soap, chapstick, q-tips, toothbrushes and toothpaste. I know these things sound lame to us, but they don't have a store to run to for these things and they appreciate the simple things very much.

  • THE REQUESTS FOR CARE PACKAGE CONTENTS FROM MY SON INCLUDED..BABY WIPES, ZIPLOC BAGS, CHAPSTICK UNSCENTED grrr..hit caps lock sorry. Flavored sunflower seeds, jolly ranchers, nothing choclate ever, a fleece throw that rolls up really small in the winter. Gold Bond lotion, batteries, and oddly enough tampons. It seems they break the box open and each guy carries at least two at a time in his pack. They make excellent battle dressings for gunshots and punture wounds. Thats all I can remember for now.

  • hard candy, pringles (because they aren't in a bag that will get smashed), shampoo, razors, blankets, sheets, sweatshirts, powder to add to water bottles, tea bags, stationary and greeting cards, stamps
