Early Gender determination?

Im currently 14 weeks pregnant, me and my fiance are about to move across country due to the army changing where he is stationed. We were hoping that we could find out the gender and have our baby shower before we move, I am aware that usually gender determination is done between 18-20 weeks, but i am hoping there is some technology that could do it around 16-17 weeks... What is the earliest you found the gender of your child, and have it be correct?

  • I found out with my 2nd at 16-17 weeks also. But I am old as dirt, so had to have a level 2 ultrasound at an accredited facility. Th extra-expert techs and detailed, extra-clear ultrasound machine probably made it easier. My doctor said they just aren't wrong when they tell you. If they can't tell, they won't tell you anything.
