Grinding Teeth

My son turns 1 on July 24th and he has approximately 4 teeth and he constantly grindes them, how in the world can I get him to stop? Do they make anything to prevent it from happening? The sound of it drives me batty as well it's not good for his teeth.

  • My oldest daughter used to grind her teeth for what seemed like forever. I asked her pediatrician and a pediatric dentist about it and they just looked at her teeth and said they looked fine and not to worry about it. He might be doing it to relieve pressure from teething. Next time he has a doctor's appointment, just ask him to look at his teeth and make sure he's not damaging them.
