He lied and i am giving him a 2nd chance, how can i trust him again?

  • Thats ultimately up to you. No one can answer that because we dont know what he lied about and how serious the issue is to you. But if you're on here asking, probably not.

  • Well I am not sure what he lied about or who he is, but any rebuilding of trust takes time. However, one thing I have learned is if you decided to try again and rebuild trust, you have to leave the past where it belongs. If you are going to keep bringing it up, then you were not ready to rebuild anything.

  • You have to decide not to forget, but to put it behind you if you want to work it out. He has to understand that you have the right to be suspicious and if you need to check up things on times. If you give a second chance you have to really make an effort to try to leave it behind and be happy.

    Think about getting some counseling to get new skills to work it out.
