Do you consider yourself a work at home mom (WAHM) and, if so, what do you do?

I usually just call myself a stay at home mom (SAHM) because I don't make a significant income off of freelancing and my college-related work.

Technically, being a SAHM is work, but I'm talking about WAH where you get paid.

  • I consider my self a WAHM and a SAHM. lol.. I run my business from home which allows me to be home with my children, so I would say definately both. I am partnered with a company who helps others financially. They have all kinds of wonderful services from helping you to reduce/eliminate debt, get a TAX FREE RETIREMENT (which has life insurance, disability, critical care and more included in this package), access to lawyers, tax help, money tracker (helps you to track your expenses by phone, internet or text), an online shopping with over 1000 brand name stores and get money back just for shopping, and much more. I love my business because I don't have to sell anything. I offer something that everyone needs in this economy. We help build your team and we have daily trainings.

  • Both my DH and I work from home, but we are really "farmers", even though we don't try to make an income from it. I work with Internet CEO Moms (www.greenMOMteam.com is my webpage) and he translates business documents from German to English, and because we both work from home, we can both work together homeschooling our 5 kids :)

  • I am a WHAM- I work 40 hrs/wk for a local company keying data entry -- they allow me to work out of my own home and it is rare that I have to go in to the office.
