What is the best way to cope with my son's father who mostly puts his needs before his son's?

My ex has custody of my son, but it is sad because mostly all he thinks about are women and fullfilling his manly needs. He takes his son out to eat once or twice a week. My son's uncle has stepped in to feel the void and my son enjoys the time they are together. I just wish son's dad would realize how much his son needs him during the transition years.

  • Well i was in this situation somewhat too but worse, my mom died when i was 7 and right after she past my dad had a girlfriend. and she and her daughters are all he cares about i would cry and cry so much. then i went out and had sex and my dad found out about it and started paying attention to me more. i hate to say it but maybe your son needs to do something to open his eyes up and show his dad he needs him in his life.
    Hope that helps a little<3

  • Have you tried to talk to your EX to see if you could keep him more? Sense he has no time for him. Your son is between 13-17. I think he is capable of taking care of himself most of the time.

  • I'd try Voo Doo. Here's a cute doll for only $11.95.

Even if it doesn't work, it'll make you feel better.

Do you think this 7 year old child should have sex? Is that what you did? Bad advice. Bad, bad advice.

  • tell him to shape up or you'll go after full custody. does it bother your son or just yuo bcuz boys that age like to have space and they like women and eating out.... i dunno who does it bother, if you son has the issue with it your son should tell your ex
