  • I've never heard of that, but try adding several drops of tea tree oil to a palmful of shampoo. Rinse. Repeat.

  • have you found out where they came from? besides doing what josiesmommy00 said you need to make sure they get out of your house. beleive it or not but baby powder helps. use it just like you would carpet cleaner and run the vaccum over it. bombing the house does not work on them! i've already that.

  • She has fleas which pets have or does she has head lice? Either way you pick up a lice toolkit from cvs or walmart. It has a shampoo and a fine toothed comb. Follow the directions on the box. A friend I know got head lice from her kids who got them from school. She did this method on herself and her family and it got rid of everyone's lice. The shampoo is medicated or something so it helps killing the little pests. Good luck!

  • My dog is seriously allergic to fleas and this happens to her. However fleas don't stay on people. She may have lice or mites and she could be allergic. She may need an antibiotic. I wouldn't recommend putting lice shampoo on her until she has seen a doctor. It is aa topical treatment only. It will seep into her sores. Plus it will burn, very badly. GL! I hope she feels better and you figure out what is going on.

  • Yes, if you have a flea infestation in your home, taking your child to the doctor won't do any good, and the doctor would most likely tell you that. Still take her in to see the doctor, but make sure your home is not infested, if so then you need to get rid of them soon. My mom's cat ran out of the house a few months back and went right into a nest of fleas, and bought them right into her home. It took her nearly two months to get them all out. In the meantime wash her hair with regular shampoo making sure you use your fingers to massage it into the scalp, and make lots of suds in her hair too, and let it sit a minute. Use the scrub or washcloth to rub it in her hair and throughout the scalp. Make sure the water is warm, but not too hot, fleas cannot survive warm to moderate water on them. Repeat this step at least twice, but still make sure your home is not infested because you'll be wasting your time.
