I LOVE salsa...many different kinds of salsa.

  • We don't really follow an exact recipe.

    We throw tomatoes, onions, cilantro, jalapenos (or thai hots) in a food processor and taste until we like it.

    Sometimes DH will roast the ingredients, sometimes we cook them so I can can them for later use. I usually do about 25 quarts in the summer.

  • I make a bean salsa~ Roma tomatoes, fresh chopped garlic, can of seasoned black beans, red onion, green onion, white onion, package of taco season, jalapeno, Lime juice

  • Mine is really simple...

    Tomato, onion, jalepeno, garlic. I just rough chop and let sit in the fridge for an hour.

    Now sometimes, I will make a corn salsa as a side dish that is divine. I use the saem things as the regular salsa, but add corn, avocado and lime juice.

  • 4 Tomato's - scrape the seeds out and cut in to cubes
    2 Tomatillo's cut all of it in cubes
    1 half red onion chopped small
    1 full package/cube of Mediterranean Feta cheese More or less depending how strong you like that
    Jalepeno's chopped small
    1 tsp of minced garlic
    1 Tbsp lemon/Lime juice
    Then we slice baguette bread, lightly brush olive oil and salt and pepper on each side and grill them on the Panini press
    salt and pepper

  • I don't know's my best friends. 2nd is my hubbys.
    Hubby is a chef by trade and said I offended him that I like my friends better..LOL I told him they need to have a Salsa-Off!

  • I used to make salsa but DH started making it and his is soooo good. There really is no reason for me to even try. I don't even know the recipe. I can tell you that all the veggies are fresh from our garden. what we don't have we buy at the farmers market.

  • 4 diced roma tomatoes
    1/4 diced red onion
    1/2 de-seeded jalapeno (we like it mild)
    finely chopped cilantro and lots of it
    1 clove of finely minced garlic
    a taste of salt
    and the juice form 2 limes

  • I don't have a recipe. But use, roma tomatoes, onions, green onions, green peppers, jalapenos, lime juice, olive oil, cumin and cayenne, salt and pepper. Chop it all and mix it together. I sometimes put in cilantro.

  • Salsa Fresca

    8-10 Roma tomatoes, seeded, if you wish, and coarsely
    1 oe 2 fresh jalapeno, seeded,
    1 large, sweet onion finely chopped
    1 tbs dry, or 4 tbs fresh cilantro
    1 tsp cumin
    Dash of salt
    Cracked black pepper
    2 Tbs lime juice
    1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

    Combine tomatoes, jalapeno and onion in a bowl,
    with salt and let set for 10 to 20 minutes; drain.
    rest of the ingredients.
