  • You don't have anything that stays open for 24 hours other than walmart. (that didn't even happen til I was about 15 and they finally decided to turn it into a superwalmart. lol)
It only takes 5 min to get anywhere.

  • How about... you know you're in a small town when there is no Wal-mart! I grew up in a town that didn't have one - you had to drive for at least a half hour to get to one.
Or... you know you're in a small town when people you've never even seen before know your name! That's my grandpa's town. They all say "Are you Mel's granddaughter?" or "Are you Craig's daughter?" and I just go "..... yes?"

  • You have to drive a minimum of 20 minutes just to go to a large food store since your tiny town's convenient store has only a fraction of the essentials you will need.
