  • well it depend on how many teeth they have, soft foods like crackers, or somethimes you can go to the store and buy little things that they can put in thier mouth and instead of not being able to chew it it will melt in their mouth.

  • It really depends on the baby and how well she or he can chew and swallow, but cherrios, cut up fruit, cut up steamed veggies, pieces of bread. My daughter's favorites were avacado and banana.

  • an experienced eater can have things like, avocado, banana, steamed carrots, semi smashed peas, cantaloupe, watermelon, 1/4 grapes, sweet potato chunks, small pastas... the possibilities are endless. Just hold off on things like Honey, Peanut butter, strawberries, seafood and citrus until one year or more if there is family history.

  • My 10 month old eats whatever we eat, just cut up. She loves any type of bean - navy beans, green beans, black eyed peas, etc. and berries are her favorite (she's had blueberries, strawberries and blackberries). My 2 yo's favorites at that age were eggs and cheese ravioli.
