  • Lots of practitioners advise the OTC SlowFE or SlowIron. Some say one pill once per day, like the bottle, but others say one pill every two or three days, depending on your iron levels....

  • floradix is the absolute best. They don't cause constipation like most other iron supplements. They also have supportive herbs specific to pregnancy.

  • Besides my Prenatal that has iron in it the Dr. told me to take 2 SlowFe Iron pills. They sell them over the counter at the drug store. They check your blood as your pregnancy progresses for iron deficiency which is very common. I'm 32 week Preg.
