insemination does it work and what is the cost?

  • Costs vary across the states. When I looked into it a few years ago we were talking in the range of 10-15k for each attempt. There is also a prominent hospital in NC that offers a program where you pay a flat fee of $32k up front, you get 3 attempts at insemination and if all three fail you get your money back. However if you get preggo the first shot, you're still out the full 32k. I would google insemination in your area and see, there is a lot of good info online.

  • there is insemination, ivf and icsi. insem is the simplest and cheapest, here in portland, oregon about $500 a shot.
