Burn question....

I burned my hand really bad the other day and now part of it is green.... I've been keeping it clean, putting a band aid on it when I go out in public and lots of A&D ointment. Is this normal?

  • P.S...don't keep bandages on it for long periods of time...it needs fresh air to heal right

  • GO TO THE DOCTOR NOW! If they can't see you go to the ER. Sounds like gangrene.

  • What they ^^ said ... and lay off the A & D ointment; it'll make it worse.

  • I have had third degree burns on my chest(was canning and the pressure cooking cover blew off) you need to go to the doctor or emergency room and have them treat you and they will give you some cream of some sort to put on it. I still have scars from mine
