What can I take for heartburn?

  • Any OTC remedy can help... but also make sure you drink a lot of water... it diluted stomach acid which helps you feel better.

  • Tums used to help me a lot and then it got worse so I tried Prilosec for 8 weeks and it was very helpful.  I was told recently that a  little aloe vera juice before meals can really help, so I am going to try that.  I'd prefer to do that if it works rather than buy the expensive meds.  I know my triggers now too so I will cut back on those.  Link has useful info
