So my garden is well on its way. I have planted egg plant, cantaloupe, tomatoes, snap peas, green peppers, jalepenos, cilantro, and cucumbers. I want to add more but need some ideas.I do have some onions I can plant but I have never done those before. Any ideas on something easy I can add. Remember the kids will be doing 50% of the gardening so I dont want anything too complex.

I also have my flower garden on its way. We have roses, freesia, zinnias, and a wild flower mix I found for my empty areas in the yard I wanted to add more color to. I was thinking about getting bulbs but is it too late for those?

  • You can put in fall-flowering bulbs now—you'll find them at the garden shop. Spring-flowering bulbs get put in in the fall.
