  • I wish he was running for president. I'd vote for him! Maybe he'll get picked for vp :)

  • Sounds about right!

Unfortunately, I predict this thread will remain "quiet" as SOME people can't handle the truth!! :o)

  • They keep saying one thing and doing something entirely different ~ and there are people who will keep voting for them because it isn't just the politicians who want to dump the US along with our Constitution and 'change it' into something far different than it is. None of them will admit that to do so only means that everyone here would take a lifestyle dive, everyone here would be doing without, and everyone here would have their own little piece of a 'share the misery' card instead of rights, and freedoms, and those responsibilities that some of us hate so much.

Unfortunately, just electing in a few people who don't want this is not going to stop it. The only way to stop it is to vote in ONLY people who don't want it, or to physically and permanently remove those who do from the country. Otherwise, they will just keep voting in people who should be tried for treason instead of getting a cushy salary and running things.

  • Here's a interesting video you "Fox" followers will enjoy

    Plenty there to digest.

  • Wat he was saying is complete bullshit. I couldn't even get through the whole video. Stopping the oil subsidies wouldn't affect gas prices at all, this is just some bull they are selling you to be OK with such a ridiculous idea. The only thing it would do is cut into their profit, which was 35 billion dollars in the first quarter alone. Experts also have said it has nothing to do with supply and demand, just more bull they are selling you so they can drill. It has everything to do with speculation all Wall Street. The administration has nothing to do with the gas prices. They could help by putting an end to outlandish speculation practices. The reason the oil companies were first given the subsidies is incentive to drill, because oil was about 20$ a barrel and that's what it cost them to drill, so they needed incentive to make money.

  • They do'nt need incentive anymore oil is 100$ a barrel and still costs 20$ to drill it. That is all the incentive they need 80$ a barrel. I can't believe anyone looking at their profits could agree with this philosophy. They are pushing it hard on Fox news trying to make you think this way.

  • It seems these big bad oil companies pay 40+ % in taxes, even more than most other corporations and small businesses. There is no reason for people to be hating on them. It's all that big green eyed monster.
