Shaky and light headed

Im not feeling well, although there are no outer signs of shaking, my insides (mostly arms, legs and hands) feel really shaky and I am pretty lightheaded. I have been drinking water throughout the day, I just finished a water bottle, and I ate a sandwich about 30min ago hoping food would make me feel better. Nope. Its about 70 outside, but I dont feel overly warm. I am 30 weeks pregnant... whats going on?

  • Could be Low Blood Pressure. I was the same way just after giving birth, when the Dr. had me on blood-pressure medication to bring down my high BP. Took it down too low, and I got the shakes and light-headed.

Have it checked. (Generally there is a free machine at every pharmacy, even Wal-Mart, so you can have it checked before you head to the Dr's.)

  • Do you have hypoglycemia? When's the last time you ate? I get that feeling if I don't eat semi-frequently (especially while pregnant). Try eating and see if you feel any better.

  • I feel that way when I go too long between eating and my blood sugar gets too low. To be safe I would advise you to call your doctor and tell him/her what is going on.

  • I took a nap actually, and feel pretty good now. Weird... maybe I was just overly tired?

  • Hello. Please continue drinking pleanty of water, up it if you must.
Sounds like it could be low blood pressure and or your sugar levels are to low.

a fasting blood sugar done to make sure your levels are normal.
