Gallon of paint?

How big of an area does it cover? How do you figure out how much you need?

  • Each one is different. it says on the can. You can probably find out online or check the can when you buy it.

  • I'd check with the sales person at the store, or try diy.com.

  • It depends on the nap of roller and how many coats you need. A bonus tip... If painting colored walls, keep the upper colored line down about an inch from the ceiling, it will make a nice crisp line and you don't have to worry about the ceiling...

  • It depends on whether you'll need 1 or 2 coats, the quality of the paint, and the rollers use you. Measure your walls, then ask at the paint department.

  • Depends- on the roller, quality of paint and if what you're attempting to cover- dark colors are hard to cover.
