What do you think about Olivian for a boy's name?

  • Mmm. Adding a N to it doesn't make it any less of a girls name IMO. When I said it outloud to myself, it sounded almost identical to Olivia really. Not something I would choose, but that's just my 2 cents.

  • Probably the name Olivian for a boy will end up becoming Oliver as nickname. But still the birth certificate will say Olivian. Families choose names which run in the family to preserve the tradition. Is this the case with your family?

  • Once he has to slowly pronounce his name it's going to be OLIVI-Ann... Yeah, I don't see that being good Mama. It's just too feminine to pass for a girls name.

  • I don't like it personally but I would assume that his parents were trying to honor a very special person in their lives named Olivia.
