  • His hugs. When he hugged you, you felt it. They were great big bear hugs and it didn't matter if they were hello hugs or I miss you hugs they were always the same ...wrap his arms around you, never let you go, great big bear hugs. I miss the so much!

  • My dad would take me for bike rides that ended at the ice cream shop. I was in college the last time we did this.

  • I remember walking around the beach while we were on vacation in Florida. My mom and brother weren't there...no clue where they were and it was just Dad and me and I felt closer to him then than I ever had before...or since. That's my only good memory of him.

  • Getting up at 3-4 in the morning to go fishing before the sun came up and it got too hot. It's the only time we really bonded and I always enjoyed the conversations
