Do you have a landline phone?

Why or why not?

We don't have one, me and DH both have cell phones...guess I figure since we both have our own phones it's not really necessary to add the cost of having an additional phone lol

  • I do indeed have a land line! I don't own a cell phone, either. My husband does...I am a SAHM so really I have no need for one. I like holding onto the past! LOL

  • I can't imagine not having one, I always worry I'll lose my mobile and it's not grounded enough.

  • No, got rid of it few years ago. When it sat on the kitchen counter for a month not even charged. I had it disconnected. My kids and I all have cell phones.

  • Yes we have one. Neither me or dh have cell phones. We use our main number for everything.

  • Yes we have one. It is bundled into the price of our cable/internet, so that is basically the only reason we have one.

  • Yes I have a landline phone & we both have cell phones too. We only use the cell phones when we are out if we need them. I cannot talk for long periods of time on a cell, it's too annoying. When 9/11 happened, I would not have been able to communicate with my family if we didn't have landline phones as well.

  • We keep a landline because we have children and in the case of an emergency they might not be able to get to our cells.

  • I have one, my cell phone spends more time dead than charged. I like my landline phone much better than worrying about my cell
