  • I was told not to use anything thats going to raise my body temp. bc a high body temp can hurt the baby. I was told not to be in a bathtub for more than 15 minutes at a time, which that raises the body temp to a certain extent as well. I'd try to do it on low & no directly on your skin. Maybe put a thin towel between you and the heating pad and use only for 10 to 15 mins. good luck, hun.

  • Call your OB/Midwife first but I used one while I was pregnant with my DD because I was having Sacrum issues and it was the only thing that helped a little bit to lessen the pain I used it on LOW with a Towel around it for only 10 minutes at a time.Feel Better:)

  • my midwife said it was okay on low temp. for like 10-15mins directly on the back and no where near your baby/belly. warm baths are perfectly fine, I used them at the end of my pregnancy and during labor. just make sure the water isn't more than 98-99 degrees Fahrenheit and if your skin is red or you feel to hot, get out.
