How can i get my 2 year old to keep his room cleaned

  • He's 2...I'm not sure how clean you want him to keep it. My suggestion is to help him pick up his toys when he's done playing. Make a game out of it. I hope you're not expecting him to be able to clean it independently. He's still a little young for that.

  • LOL!! This is a joke right? When a child it 2 they don't keep their room clean. Their Mommy and Daddy helps them pick up toys and then do most everything else (dusting, vacuuming, and organizing) 2 years old it still a baby.

  • well we go in their and clean it together but no sooner than we clean it he takes the whole toy box and tries to turn it upside down

  • You might explain that it gets done every night before bedtime. Do it together and make it fun. Praise him when he helps out. You should not have high expectations for a two year old. They love to dump things and it is not a mess to them.
