3 days of 1/2 day private religous preschool for a 2 year old at $479/month. Is that too much?

Depends on your area. Here, that would pay for full time enrollment to the same kind of school.

How long is a half day? It probably depends. I pay $20/day for my 3 year old (she was 2 1/2 when she started) to go to preschool & it's from 9am-1pm. It also includes lunch.

Sounds a little to much to me...I pay $80 a month for my son to go 2 half days a week at our Lutheran Church's preschool. But if you think it is worth it and you can afford it, it's your choice. :)

Wow - for a private Christian preschool, 3 FULL (8:30-3:30) days a week, is $150 - and it's a fantastic preschool, my 3rd is currently in her 2nd year (older 2 went 1 year each, yougest is in his first year) and LOVES it.
