Favorite Flower?

I love lilacs when they are in full bloom--have a lilac bush in my yard and when they are in bloom--OMG the fragrance is outstanding;

I also love Roses(don't we all!!), Violets; Crocus; Daffodils, Tulips; Orchids; Carnations; Hydrangeas, Gardeni's, Pansy's, Calla Lilly's; pretty much all but Mums am severely allergic to them. So what is your favorite?

  • My number one for growing are tulips. They are gorgeous, and I can't really kill them. They come back every year. I really need that in a plant!

    As far as cut flowers, I like tulips, lilies and roses. I like daisies, daffs and poms, though, too. I would rather have a vase of "cheap" flowers every week then a vase of spendy flowers every month.

  • Lilacs. They've been my favorite since I was a kid. Our neighbors had a lilac bush and every spring we'd pick the ones that hung over our fence. I hadn't seen any since we moved out here (to WA) but my dd and her friends found some in another friend's yard and brought me some. I was in heaven. They're in a cup in the kitchen now.
